Dale,
Yes, 12.4 is all over the place if the links are not missing. Since the
problem started with the 12.4 about 6 weeks, I have switched to 12.3
documentation and most of the documentations are available in 12.3
While in the real Lab this morning, I brought this issue with the proctor.
He said he can get me access to any missing/broken links. So I don’t think
this would be a real problem in the Lab. Fortunately I didn’t have to refer
the Doc CD much and didn’t face any issue.
While practising labs, I have downloaded all the PDF and was using the PDF
files instead of the online documentation. If you have access to PDF, use
them or buy a DOC CD/DVD.
Regards,
Shine
So it looks like even if you don’t have access, or you think you might require access to a DocCD resource that is missing, the proctor is able to give you access to those missing/broken links. This was from the proctor in the Sydney lab as well, so that is a bit of a relief. I am still going to make sure I know how to find the information on all the versions of the DocCD, but it is still nice to know.
