OK, I said that I wouldn't comment further on the matter but I would like to apologize to Wayne and to IPExpert. Certainly a direct/offline dialog to begin with would have been in everyone's interest (or no dialog at all - again, this is really not my business in any public sense).

Hi Arden,

Wayne and I have discussed this privately and I just want to state for the record that I am not attacking him personally or calling him as an individual "low-class." My comment was directed at the act of making this public announcement regarding what many would consider to be a very internal matter. But at the end of the day I have no dog in this fight and so I'll not publicly comment further.

Best luck with voice, BTW. I am not pursuing that as a CCIE but my current project is very voice-centric. Loads and loads to be learned and I see now why many regard this to be one of the most difficult, if not THE most difficult track of all...

Regards,

Scott

How the community perceives it and what really happened might be two different things. The full story hasn't really been made public, so we can't make any assumptions here. Going forward I'm sure IPexpert will continue to release good material (I'm working through the voice stuff at the moment and it is pretty awesome!).

It's definitely a big announcement for Internetwork Expert though and it will be interesting to see how this changes the CCIE training landscape.

With the addition of a one-man powerhouse like Scott Morris to the one-two-three punch of the Brians/Petr, and in light of this very low-class announcement from Mr. Lawson (you may wish for us to contact you directly with our comments, but you're the one who put this in the public domain to begin with, no?), why would anyone go anywhere else in pursuit of the CCIE? Bad move followed by bad move on the part of IPExpert...
