Restrictions
Only type 3 LSAs that originate from an ABR are filtered.

The above article explains very well how to suppress type 3 LSAs.

How do you suppress type 5 LSAs (from ASBR) for certain networks only going in/out of other areas ?

Thanks

Fantastic! Very easy to understand tutorial.

I was wondering though if it is possible to use this or a similar method to filter Type5 LSAs?

We have dozens and dozens of links to external sites that unfortunately are either redistributed from Statics or BGP. We would like our ABR's to filter these out. Route summarisation won't seem to work on Type 5's.

Is this possible?

Many Thanks,

Nick
